Originally, my abstract art evolved from my detailed paintings where phantasy and realism were mixed. At the same time, I started to become interested in colors, forms and harmony after the creation of more than 1,600 figurative and illustrative paintings
Narrative
essays and surreal spheres of images still are an exciting field for new
creations.
Currently, I am again working on surrealistic paintings. As a contrast
to portraying animals in an almost photorealistic way I am painting more
or less abstract color compositions on the theme
"The Colors of the Rainforest".
My
understanding of the purpose of abstract paintings is the impact it has
on the surrounding space, i.e. color compositions seem to have an emotional
influence on the people in the room.
A phenomenon, which will undoubtedly keep me busy in the near future.
